What we do:

The West Lafayette Historic Preservation Commission was formed in 2011. The Commission's mission is to designate local historic districts and serve as a helpful resource in preserving West Lafayette's rich history, dating back to 1855. The commission reviews Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) applications from home/business owners for exterior remodeling, new constructions, or demolition projects requiring authorization.

When we meet:

Commission meets as needed for HPC business.

  • 2nd Tuesday of the month to review completed COA's
  • 3rd Tuesday of the month
  • Calendar
